Miller discusses growing up in Massachusetts and participating in athletics from an early age. He details his education and training in physical education, his career teaching and coaching at high schools, and his 1926-1967 career at the University of Wisconsin at La Crosse, where he was a professor and coach before becoming director of athletics.
